La Dogana di Capalbio beach club is located on a strip of sand facing the southernmost corner of Tuscan sea. It is quite close to Lake of Burano WWF Oasis of and it is surrounded by soft sand dunes and Mediterranean maquis, rough and scented. In 2019, the sea in front of Capalbio has once again been awarded Legambiente’s ‘Five Sails’, the highest ranking and most important acknowledgement for Italian beaches.
La Dogana beach club in Capalbio gives its guests the chance to savor the moment they had been longing for long, enjoying sunshine, untouched nature and peacefulness.
La Dogana di Capalbio beach club is unique for its design which is essential but elegant, its colors inspired by sand and sea and for being located near the Burano Oasis. Dogana’s guests particularly appreciate the beach being isolated, not crowdy. Comfort does not lack but the atmosphere is charming without being formal or exaggerated.
In the morning, guests at La Dogana can have breakfast watching the sea and reading newspapers at the table or at the reading area.
Children can enjoy a dedicated playground with a slide, swings and a castle made of rope to climb upon. The small playground is a natural meeting point for all children at the beach. They can get together here safely and mothers can relax for a while.
The beach is equipped with sun umbrellas, sunbeds and deck chairs that are put back in order every evening by the staff. La Dogana di Capalbio beach club has free showers and toilets for the club’s customers. You will appreciate the private car park with shades when, after a day in the hot sun on the seaside you will find a cool car.
La Dogana di Capalbio beach club is open from Easter until mid-September. You can book season, monthly or daily passes.
In June 2020 La Dogana changes management with “Gruppo Enoteca La Torre“, an Italian company specialized in restaurant, catering and cocktail services. Specialization strengthened also by the reconfirmation of a Michelin star every year since 2010.
If you want to have lunch or dinner a few meters from the sea, we suggest the restaurant of the Dogana Beach Club which also includes a great bar. Open from morning to late evening, the a la carte restaurant of the Dogana is available for lunch and dinner, with a cocktail bar from aperitif until closing and a smarter formula for lunch with quick dishes such as salads and sandwiches starting from high-level raw materials for those who prefer the sun over the laid table. Seasonality is the feather in the cap of the restaurant along with the service and an excellent location.
Sunset is our guests’ favorite time of the day. La Dogana di Capalbio beach club turns from a bright and familiar place into an elegant and sophisticated club. Torches along the pathway to the beach, candles on the restaurant’s tables and the stars in the sky, everything illuminates.
Not far from the beach club, Glamping Capalbio, the ‘glamorous camping’ made for people loving being immersed in nature and camping but do not want to do without amenities. At Glamping Capalbio you can book your tent a few meters away from La Dogana beach.
La Dogana di Capalbio Beach Club is open at weekends from Easter to May. It is open every day from June to September.
