At Terre di Sacra Retreat & Glamping, guests are immersed in nature, nevertheless services and activities are always at their disposal to meet everyone’s demand at every age. From a beach with facilities to a sea-view restaurant, our Retreat & Glamping has anything you need to experience a comfortable vacation.

Free beach or beach with facilities:
crystal-clear sea waters in Capalbio for everyone

In front of Terre di Sacra Retreat & Glamping stretch several kilometers of unspoiled beach and crystal-clear sea, framed by coastal dunes and Mediterranean scrub. The soft sand is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing to the soothing sound of the waves. The water remains shallow for many meters from the shore, making it ideal for children to play safely, build sandcastles, or dig in the sand.

Guests of the Retreat & Glamping have free access to the beach and are welcome to bring their own umbrellas, deck chairs, or loungers. The beach is spacious enough to guarantee peace, quiet, and plenty of room for everyone.

For those who prefer a beach equipped with full services and comfort, we recommend booking an umbrella at La Dogana Beach Club, just a few steps from the Tent Lodges and Wooden Lodges. Guests can choose between standard loungers with picnic and lunch boxes prepared by Enoteca La Torre, or opt for the comfort setup, which includes an extra-large umbrella, two loungers, two chairs, and a small table—ideal for enjoying dedicated F&B beach service.

La Dogana Beach Club offers everything needed for a relaxing day by the sea: showers, changing rooms, parking, a dedicated children’s play area, beach service, and two restaurants—the La Dogana terrace serving gourmet Italian cuisine, and the new international restaurant Il Doganino, offering a casual yet refined experience with dishes that combine international flavors and fresh local ingredients.

Activities

Sports and excursions for beginners and enthusiasts

Services and activities at Terre di Sacra Retreat & Glamping are not just dedicated to the beach. You can rent bicycles and e-bikes to move around the Retreat & Glamping and explore the nearby Oasis of Burano, the first WWF Nature Reserve in Italy. Even if you are not a sportsperson, you can still enjoy the routes within the Oasis by bicycle and enjoy the wonderful wildlife in the area.  

Guests can also book a tennis court by contacting the Reception.

Horse riding, sailing or water sports lovers can book one-day excursions (with an extra charge) starting from the Glamping. Our concierge will be able to suggest you the excursion or activity that best suits your own expectations and skills.

Pool Bistrot and grocery delivery service: good food lovers won’t be disappointed

Pool Bistrot

Opening in June 2025, the new Pool Bistrot is the perfect place to relax by the pool with fresh, light dishes. Surrounded by nature, it welcomes guests throughout the day—from breakfast to sunset—offering a full service that includes breakfast, bar, lunch, and aperitivo in a laid-back yet refined atmosphere.

Grocery Delivery to Your Lodge

Almost all accommodations at Terre di Sacra Retreat & Glamping are equipped with kitchens, allowing guests to enjoy meals just like at home. And there’s no need to go far for ingredients: you can order groceries directly to your lodge, choosing from fresh and packaged foods as well as household products, sunscreen, beach essentials, and much more.

At Terre di Sacra Retreat & Glamping, guests have access to several kilometers of unspoiled beach as well as the serviced beach at the Dogana Beach Club. For dining, a variety of options are available: the Italian gourmet restaurant La Dogana by Enoteca La Torre, the new international beachfront restaurant Il Doganino, and starting from June 2025, the new Pool Bistrot by the swimming pool.

You can also take advantage of our grocery delivery service, where you can select gourmet products, household essentials, and everything you need for your Glamping stay. Our reception team is happy to recommend sports and cultural activities in the area, book excursions, and guide you in exploring the nearby WWF Oasis, just steps from the Retreat & Glamping.

Additional on-site amenities include a tennis court—available with or without a private coach—wellness services, and a bike rental service to explore the natural surroundings at your own pace.

How do I spend my time at Terre di Sacra?

The mood of a vacation at Terre di Sacra is all about experiencing endless emotions, mixing adventure, culture, nature, and relaxation. You can have adventures every day of your stay at Terre di Sacra: water sports, sea or lake navigation, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, skydiving, nature hikes in the WWF Oasis, trekking in the hills, bike rides, or horseback riding on the shoreline. If you love golf, you’ll enjoy the Argentario Golf Club. In the glamping area, there’s a tennis court, and other tennis courts in the area can be easily booked.

You’re in the center of a region with immense and unique cultural attractions: the village of Capalbio, the tufa towns, the castles of the area, Etruscan civilization, and contemporary art, such as the Tarot Garden and countless cultural initiatives.

The Burano Lake Nature Reserve is just the closest opportunity to immerse yourself in the wild nature of Maremma, with birdwatching, wildlife and flora spotting, or simply enjoying unique landscapes. Finally, if you prefer relaxation, you can soak up the sun, sea, and beach or the private pool (from June 2025), relax at the Terme di Saturnia, take yoga classes, or explore wineries, typical trattorias, or Michelin-starred restaurants nearby.
